how to clean calcium build up

hi there, I just got a acrylic tank that has a lot of calcium build up that I want to clean off. does anyone know if vinegar will clean it?
I also have a cpr overflow that needs to be cleaned out.

Plus 1 on vinegar let it do its magic for a few days, I don't know if 1 gallon is enough or too much for a 75 gallons that's roughfly what I used for cleaning set up jmho

Costco has vinegar in a two pack (1 gallon each)
if you have some really stubborn stuff, soak a paper towel in straightstraight vinegar and lay it on the surface... gets it much quicker that way....
