I definately prefer the gels to the more liquid versions. However, between the gels, I could care less about brand names. If I have to hold brand B for 5 more seconds than brand A, who cares???

BTW...superglue actually cures faster underwater in your fragging container than it will in open air.

Interesting curt, I need to see if that works, darn glue is useless after one use lol. The gel does seem to keep longer though.

The super glue you need to get is the super glue gel that contains "Cyanoacrylate" in its ingrediants

Dr. Mac actually recommends that you keep the stuff that he sells in the frig. I've had that stuff since March and it's still good to go. I've actually started keeping all my gel glue in the frig, and it seems to work for all the ones I have. HTH

Hey Curt,

Keeping superglue in the fridge definately extends the shelf life. We use it at work for glueing flexable duct connections. After use clean the cap and bottle end. Then it is put into a coffee can or an additional air tight container and into the refridgerator. I'm not sure of the exact time frame, but I have used product stored this way for at least 6 months and probably longer.

I buy the Locktite gel in this container that has these "art deco-star wars" shaped push applicators on the sides (I think they call it "Gel Control"), and it's great for allowing your to squeeze tiny amounts out for months. I imagine in the fridge it would last forever...!
