very tiny bug from a dip today from some frags that came in from a friend
he is small like a pod and has antenna. And didn't die in a weak melafix solution

Does it look like it has segmented armor on it's back, kind of a flat shell? If so, it's probably an isopod. Otherwise, it's probably some type of amphipod. Does it look like this?

I need to correct my above post. It's funny that Adam and I decided to take pics of similar critters, at the same time...lol. I was just taking pics for fun...lol.

Anyway, the above photo'd critter is a common and beneficial isopod. I'd made mention to a possible armor or shell, that would indicate an isopod. That refers to a different type of isopod that I recently found in my tank. They're also beneficial, though I killed mine, before properly IDing it...lol. I have pics of that type somewhere, but can't find them, so here's a link to a picture on Melev's Reef. I actually found mine, the same way Marc did.
