hopefully my new rock will be mostly cured when my new tank is up and running!!!! i will probably get some more before then..i got about80-90lbs today..that won't even start to fill the tank

how many weeks are you gonna be curing it?

are you gonna get different kinds .. or just fiji?

just don't over stack your tank with rocks because some corals come with rocks and so it fills up after a while .

i am just keeping it in my sump right now..all the baffles leaked that i siliconed, so i removed them.. i will have to silicone them again..when my new tank is up, i will put them in the tank and let them finish curing...a month or two will be enough curing time.. i will definately check all my levels before adding anything to it!!!!!i am looking at Kaelini or some carribean rock...by the way, does anyone have thoughts on carribean rock??.. i saw some rock that i don't like at all and i am not sure if it was carribean rock.. it was very heavy and had shells all in it

i got my new mag12 pump today..i put it in my sump with my new rocks..this thing is putting out some serious flow around these rocks!!!! ..also, some of the rocks had some sort of macro growing on them..they had been in the sun when i bought them, so the macro is white ... i think it might have been hair algae because some of it is 2-3 inches long i have been picking off the algae for a while..i don't think scrubbing it will get the stuff off...will it fall off since it is dead???????

Not sure if it will fall of if it is hair algae, but I'm sure if your tang had a few minutes with it, he'd mow it down real good. That's cool on the pump...I love new toys

yeah, i love getting new pumps and stuff to mess with...i had a Zoo Med Powersweep in the sump to try to get some circulation...those things are junk!!!! it barely even made a ny movement 1ft in front of it...i don't recommend those things to anyone
