I keep losing diamond gobies

I just lost another diamond gobie. Somehow he jumped out of the tank, just like the other one. I placed a snug piece of eggcrate over my tank, but im guessing he got sucked into the overflow and jumped when he was on the other side.Or he has very good aim and jumped right threw one of the tiny eggcrate openings. Does any body know of more critters that clean your sand as good as diamond gobies do? Maybe a criiter that doesnt jump out of the tank. thanks.

I have a tiny red smooth star, dont know what type that is.

I miss read your thread I thought you were wondering where the goby went. but you have found him outside the tank. i lost several to a green brittlestar.

Snails do wonders for cleaning/stirring the sand.

maited pair

A full size maited pair of tiger shrimp gobies.They will watch each others back and be less likley to get bullied by already established fish.Changeing some of the rock work and pre digging them a hole will also help.
