You guy's are sick, how much are they any way? And do they come in purple, my wifes fav color heh heh

It would be great if you could shoot out a net of some sort to catch those pesky pests.

This is sweet! Maybe we could install a trap on it, I used several traps, fish just seem to know a bad thing when they see it. It seems to work one time, then you have to switch things around. I've been trying to catch one last engineer gobies, these things are very shy. Now as for as the six-line I decided to keep it.

Out of a 16 foot tank this clown tang has all the other fish corner into about 4 feet of it. Including another tang that is a good ten inches bigger the it. The biggest problem is that when the clown tang chases the vlamingii, the vlamingii puts its tail out of the tank and tail smacks, I cant tell you how many bulbs I have lost, lol. Damm thing has a whale complex. that and when it kicks into gear to get away it creates a 8 inch sunami.

Thanks to this thread, I bought 2 of the R/C clownfish. One for my nephew and one for me! Works really well in my fw catfish tank, but it struggles to dive in my reef tank. Bummer! I think saltwater is a little to buoyant for the little R/C clown. I can bug my catfish, but unfortunately not my clownfish. Still is pretty cool, though.

.......sigh ;)

LOL

Sorry, it's seems I was wrong. The saltwater blocks the R/C clown from receiving radio transmissions. With the antenna submerged under saltwater, the clown does not receive any radio signals, so the propellar stops spinning.
I tried it in a swimming pool and went about 3ft deep before losing radio tm and floating to the surface. In my reef tank, it can only swim around on the surface and duck dive. Still quite cool.

I got one today. The actual submarine won't run in saltwater as well. It conducts across the pins that work as a radio signal reciever. It works in my little pond though. Maybye I can take it to the park and bother the ducks. Its pretty cool though. I will experiment with ways to seal it up, from the saltwater.

This reminds me of when I was a kid and I used to take apart toys to see how they worked. And since some I couldn't put back together I would just make new ones! hehehehehe

You stoped taking things apart? Well my test with dried silicone worked marginally. I was able to dive the sub. However salt still got in and even though I rinsed it in fresh water, there was enough left to corrode the terminals in the few hours I was gone. More updates if I can make it work again. STEVE
