So my Red Sea Prizm Pro isn't cutting it. It takes literally forever to tune and just when your feeling comfortable with it something changes that it doesn't like and it belches all over the floor (happened twice this past week). And now I practically can't get it to skim at all.

So needless to say I am in the market for a new skimmer. It will be down in my cabinet with my sump and must fit within roughly a 9"X10"X24". The tank is a 55g and the sump is around 15g. I am open to all suggestions. Preferably under $300

I want one THIS WEEKEND or Monday at the latest since I am trying to get things stable before I leave town this week. The tank is still cycling a bit and I don't want to over dose my new LR with Ammonia.

Thanks all.

D&D enterprise Typhoon. Cheap 70$ and I had lots of luck with it...

But in the words of the wiser... spend the money now and get a good one. Or check craigslist and ebay...

Or just make one

My $0.02

I ended up getting a Euro-Reef RS-80 for only $199 from Barrier Reef down in Renton. So far I am very pleased.......... it creates a head almost as fine as Guinness!

Thats a great price for that unit. I think I picked mine up for on sale for $180 last year.
A quick recirc mod and mesh wheel mod and that baby can handle a 100Gs easy. Or you could feed heavier without much worry.
