I think it looks pretty good. ;) The only other option I would thinnk of for the return would be a spraybar across the top, but I like what you have drawn up better.

Where is it in relation to the wall? Can you run an external overflow? I would give you more room, inside the tank.

where the overflow is is against the wall (all the wall of the tank{it sits in like a bar section kind of}) so external wouldn't work (I have that I was thinking about but it would make it harder)

If I'm looking at the pic correctly (all showing the tank from above) then I think your idea is cool. the only thing I'd say is with the tank only being 30 gals, you will lose quite a bit of display space with an island overflow for outputs. Maybe you can do similar outputs like Mark did (dragoneggs) which doesn't take up any space at all with the flow coming through little outputs on the bottom of the tank. Browse through here to see what I mean http://www.reeffrontiers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21986 :)

Neat idea, but it will be a very expensive tank. You could make the tank much bigger for close to the same cost. Labor is going to be much more than materials for that tank so you could easily make it taller, wider and longer without much up charge.
