I was doing a water change and cleaning the tank, when I noticed more than the usual bubble algae EVERYWHERE! I got so frustrated I started scraping them off the rocks.

1. Will this just create more bubble algae?

2. HELP!

3. How do I get rid of the algae?

I use R/O for the water change and for evaporated water; I try not to keep the lights on long.

This bubble algae is like the blob it is everywhere.

How big is your tank? I had a 125gal fish only a while back that that happened to, and a foxface cleaned it right up in about a month.

good luck

Do emerald crabs eat fish? Can the climb out of the tank?

Emerald crabs are awesome dood :).
my crab not only loves bubble algae but caulerpa and the little bits of hair algae i have :p.

but when the crab eats the bubble algae, doesn't pop and spread that way as well?

My crab completely ignores my bubble algae.

My long spined urchin mows it down pretty effectivly in places where he can get to it though. =)
