So today i noticed my xenia were looking real;y poor, so i was looking through the tenticles and saw a tiny starfish so i decided to freshwater dip my xenia.....I put them in the water for about a minute and put them back into my main tank and now they are really skinny and a different color...what should i do?

hahaha...yeah..learned that the hard way!! lol so its in qt right now and it seems to be doing better, i hope it survives!

I agree with Tasos... it is not a problem to dip most soft corals. Anyone that has been to a reef will likely recall seeing acres of soft corals of all sorts (including Xeniids) exposed at low tide to the rain, sun, etc. A short FW dip is no problem at all.
