Anyone wanna take a guess at what this is?

Its animal, vegetable, or mineral.
(This excludes energy manifestation and time/space distortion)

Can you furnish any more info on it?
Need a better close-up but looks like hairy macro algae to me. Too transparent to be a gorgonia. Too thin for a sponge...

It started growing a couple weeks ago. It's about an inch long right now. I'll try to get a better picture of it today.

Another one for sponge. Does it break off really easily? I've got a sponge that sends out "runners" that look like that and the runners come apart super easy. Somewhat invasive.

Are those zoanthid polyps that are randomly sprouting out of your sandbed? Just trying to figure out what I'm seeing there...

Just some yellow polyps. There is a rock they sit on, but my goby doesn't realize he drops sand over everything. I'll have to get another pic up cause it's starting to get bigger. I haven't tried to mess with it yet so I don't know how flimsy it is. Thanks everyone for the possible ID's.

Looks like a common sponge I have growing throughout many shaded areas in both of my reef tanks. Do the ends look hollow? In my tanks, it's an bland olive green color and grows quite fast. Seems to grow faster and is more abundant in my 75, which is more SPS dominated so gets more attention to Ca, Alk and Mg and also gets fed phyto and zooplankton more often.
