I was looking at my tank today and noticed this little crab.

red mithrax maybe, but kind of hard to tell from the pic.

is it hairy?and is the claw tip black..if it so,then it might be a gorilla crab or teddy bear crab...not reef safe and get really big..

Yeah it seemed to be hairy. I've not seen it yet I thought it was the crab, but when I picked it up it was only the molted body. So he is somewhere in my tank hiding.

my emerald crab is hairy, doesn't mean he's bad. Those pinchers look rounded off on the ends, if so, it's not a gorilla or teddy bear.

Beg to differ, but if hairy (other than the legs) most likely not an emerald crab.
95% if not higher of hairy crabs are predatory to corals.
Keep an eye on it, or just to be safe, put it in the sump.
