about 1 1/2" long with lots of creepy tentacles lives in the sand. mostly

I think so too and from what I've read they are a sing of a good healthy sand bed and don't hurt anything..

There seems to be a lot of confusion about the use of the names "Spaghetti Worm" and "Hair Worm." It seems they are two distinctly different animals. Here's a great article that describes both.

Sid's right! They are good detritus feeders. I have tons in my tanks before. No harm just creepy looking!

Spaghetti worms are best treated with with lots of garlic.

One can also use MARINEara sauce
