my eye sight is not the best, but it kinda looks like a sponge, witch is ok

I guess it looks like a sponge taken through a crappy cell phone camera. Best I can do.

Sponge is my bet too. Is it growing in a dark area? As long as it is not impeding growth of your corals. No real harm.

yeah, it's growing on a dark side of my rock.

yes its a sponge...good and bad..bad if it starts growing on corals especially zoas as they will smother and win...
