try running your lights during off-peak hours. neighbors might complain though

I remember years ago when our house was set up to be billed at different rates for using power during off-peak hours. Our house is currently not set-up for that type of billing. Is yours?
 
Marine Depot carries the Dual Voltage 250W Lumatek ballast. They no longer have the Single Voltage 120V 250W ballast.

Running the lights at night is also a way to create less heat in the tank, don't you think, especially during the summer. Just an offhand thought, and something I have thought of, but never done.
