doods my rainbow monti has grown and attached to the plug i bought it with, so i was wondering how can i cut the plug? ...just the rest of it, so i can glue the plug to a rock:) .

I use wire cutters when I get those silly little plugs. Actually their bigger than a wire cutter but they'll cut even the ones that are made. Just be sure you have an extra pair of hands so the frag doesn't fall to the floor and break. Don't ask how I know that!!!!!!
 
Hacksaw, dremel, side cutters, etc. Any of those will work. Those type of plugs should be outlawed. :rolleyes: I understand they work well with egg crate shelving in a prop tank but they seldom work in an actual reef tank.
