Im so stumped on this one

I cant even tell you what phylum this is in! It is such a weird thing, I dont know if its an animal or a plant. here is a picture. It appears healthiest in the areas that are more shaded.

Does it move? How do you know it is healthy?

The outer parts are blotchy and look washed out. The inner parts that are more shaded are more vivid.

There arent any pores that I can see. There arent any spicules either, it is soft and smooth.

Im thinking it is a type of ascidian or tunicate. Colonial of course and very tiny.
