okay i just bought a turbo kit for my 2005 g35 im going to install it myself (not the issue) my issue is that i will need to fine tune it with a dyno and seeing that im new up here i would need to know where all the shops are located at. preferably one that specializes in import tuning. thanks :)

I had a guy name Dom tune my STi. He does mostly Subaru and Mitz, but I've heard he does some nismo. He is an excellent tuner.

If you are ever down in the pierce county area. I would highly recommend UP garage. they specialize in nissan and do excellent custom tunes on their in shop dyno.

okay so got my turbo kit in the mail today....very exciting moment. reading through the installation guide i tells me to drill a hole in the block for the oil return. well i was up for installing this turbo myself but now i need someone to install it.

up garage i cant find anything in the yellow pages for that do you happen to have their number?

bct do you think your guy can install a turbo kit?

im need need of someone to install this kit for me and i dont know anyone in the state of washington who know where to go :(

thanks bct.....okay so i re read the instructions i know i can do this i just need someone who knows how to thread a hole. using a tap. i have never done it before

It's cake bud. The first time I ever did it was when I was installing water meth injection on my STi. I had to drill and tap the intercooler wall which was super thin.

Basically, you will drill a hole slightly smaller followed by a tap that will cut the threads. If you know the size hole you need, go to Tacoma screw. They will get you the right bit, with the correct thread pitch tap and any associated items you may need.

Tapp'n is easy, the only issue is if your not completely straight when you tap the threads as it could become an issue if you have very limited room to work with. Good luck with your upgrade man. I'm all about extra horses, I just prefer no turbos :) No replacement for displacement.
