installing bulkhead

do I need to glue the threaded pipe coming from bulkhead or will installing with plumbers tape be sufficent. Thanks

Spears brand blue liquid putty works the best. Kinda works like a glue.

I never had issues with Teflon tape, just go at least five good wraps.
