I am having a really hard time getting interceptor. I purchased two acropora and have them in quarantine and would like to treat with interceptor asap. I am in San Antonio, Tx and have been to several local vets and none want to prescribe it. Does anyone have one pill that I could buy? Thanks for your help Linda

What I did was went to reef central and they have a great write up about it. Print it out and give it to the vet to read so they know just how you plan on using it.
How many pills do you want?
Charlie- I would like at least 2. I am treating in a 10 gal. quarantine so they would last me for awhile. I would really appreciate it if you have some. Let me know how much. I can send it by paypal.

annoying that the vets wouldn't give it to you. Especially since you've taken the time to print out the info, and go back... Hopefully Charlie took care of it. Which procedure did you follow?
When I attempted to get Interceptor, over a year ago, I placed calls to about 8 Vets, before finding one that was willing to listen...lol. It was time consuming, but now I have a Vet who will supply it, if needed. I did have to pay for an "office visit." However, now I have a refillable script AND the Vet is only a couple blocks from my house.
I followed the 6 hour tmt with a 25% water change. I did three tmts. but I did them 2 days apart because my coral had already been in quarantine for about 3 weeks and I just have regular lighting on it. I now have them in the main tank and am moving them up gradually. Next time I will do a tmt once a week for three weeks. The coral at this point look pretty good.
