I have had 2 blue linkia's in my tank for about 18 months now. About a month ago I noticed one stuck to one of the intakes for one of the closed loops (10,000GPH) The linkia was "flat" not fat and round like before. I turned the pump off and removed it from the intake. Not sure how long it was there but it was at minimal days. It's stomach was partly out and it had some necrosis on two spots. I have never seen a Linkia as thin as this one. It's body was covered in bumps similar to ribs showing on a person. I laid it on the sand bed and was going to come back and throw it away in a little. When I came back it was gone. I figured it had crawled up in the rocks and died. I saw both out today for the first time in over a month. It was fat and healthy again. I could not believe it. Just thought I would share my Christmas star story.
