So, I had an ORA red plant frag/mini colony RTN on me when I was out of town for a few days... couldn't save it with super glue, it was just its time go to.... The last of the tissue dropped of around 8/5
The other day (8/22) I broke off a frag of my "self-fragging" yongei when I was cleaning my glass, and thought, heck, I'll glue it to the red planet skeleton frag. It'll save me a frag plug.
I put it on the frag, placed it in my frag rack with all the rest of the yongei's I've been haphazardly collecting, and yesterday (8/24) I found the entire little frag RTN'd as well. Now, my yongei has been pretty bullet-proof, and this frag was less than an inch away from others who have yet to be affected, nor my parent colony.
I would have assumed after two weeks anything that caused the older frag to die would have left - leaving me with some live rock to huck into the sump.
Nothing scientific, but it appears that maybe the RTN followed the skeleton - odd eh??
