Here are a few pics of the internal overflow weir I have made a moch-up of.
There will be 2 1 1/2'' drain lines connected to the weir. 1 is full siphon, the other is for emergence.
If working properly there will be 1 1/4'' of water in the weir.
Is that enough water depth for the 1 1/2'' drain line to work at a full siphon?
Do I need to make the weir deeper?

Or will there be a full siphon with 2, 1 1/2'' drain lines with an approx 2500gph return pump?

I'd think you will need a bit more depth. Head pressure is your friend here. J

That is what I thought.
I was thinking about an additional 1''????

Your thought???

Thanks for your input Jason, I am playing in unfamiliar territory?

I would make sure you can make your wier removable. Otherwise its gonna be a beaatch to clean lol

With the egg crate its going to grow algae, unless that's just a form then never mind

The top of the euro-brace will be blacked out directly above the weir to help retard any algae growth.
I will be able to reach inside of the weir for cleaning with out have to remove it.
