I have an issue with my website my "web designer" uses Joomla and I'm able to do all the updating but I'm looking for a plugin for my photos. I want my pictures to look like they would on the grid view of photobucket http://s832.photobucket.com/albums/zz247/Party_Design/?albumview=grid giving my customers a chance to see many pictures at the same time and also the ability to click on a pic and see a larger view then use the arrows to scroll through the pictures. I also need the plugin to support 3rd party picture hosting through photobucket, flickr etc. I know this is a long shot but I know there are some tech savvy people around these boards.

Thanks Jason

I am, but I've never worked with joomla which I read is a content management system. Anyway, I researched what photo gallaries work with joomla and got this site:

Looking through the site above, someone recommended Coppermine. Here's a link to it: http://coppermine-gallery.net/

Here's an example of someone using coppermine on their site: http://indo-pak.org/gallery/ You have to scroll down a bit to see the galary.

Reading through the list of features on coppermine's website it supports multiple uploads too.

Hope that helps.

Brandy thanks that is exactly the type of info I was looking for. I scrolled to the second page of the thread and I found this.

I think it will work great. I'll let you know. It's funny when you have to go to a fish tank forum for computer advice when you're paying someone for it.:confused:

I'm glad you found something useful. Was your web designer not able to come up with a solution? Research is key and google can be your best friend in this field :)

Nope, but if you do a google search for free ftp client, I'm sure you'll get a lot of results. I haven't had any use for a ftp client as I have direct access to the server at work.

Thanks do you have a recommendation for a good free ftp download?

Jason

There is one I tried and liked.. I think its called filezilla.

Its on my other machine (using my lap top right now)

I can look later if you still need one.
I have been using dreamweaver which has the ftp built in but this other one is nice, gives you more control and is free.
