Is green algae a good sign?

If you are reading ammonia then your tank is just starting to cycle. Ammonia will rise and start to drop off as nitrite rises. Eventually, nitrite will start to drop off as nitrates rise. Once all traces of ammonia and nitrite have dropped off and remain at zero for a week or so, it is usually safe to say you completed your initial cycle and can start introducing fish slowly.

So in your opinion, should I not try to Do anything about it. And let the cycle ride till it all balances out.
