Is heat shrink tubing reef safe?

I was thinking about heat shrinking the wires for the float switches I'm installing for my Dad's auto top off and was wondering if regular heat shrink is reef safe?

I would think so. The stuff is plastic with teflon, PVC, or silicon and you'll find all that stuff in other things we use.
