Is it good pet or pest,,i got it take alook

i found this crab on my milli,,could anyone tell me is it good or get it out quick?thanks.

I can't tell from your picture there. Is it eating any of the tissue? The only crab that I have had was a little brown furry one that came in a monti cap. It was eating tissue pretty quickly so I got rid of it.

white spot at the ctr of the picture is it's eyeball-furry leg with big cross/black tip,,try to catch him,,, it got away,,i'm gonna trap it tomorrow..

i think its has a black line acrosst the front over eyes w/ white spots on leg joints, pink and whiteish body . i think
but i had had some come in and they looked fuzzy kinda like algae or something, well they were bad crabs they seemed to pick and acro started to do bad so i took it out the water and pluck him out with some tweesers he did not want to let go so i squished him and then he came right out

here is a good rule of thum if the crab looks fuzzy/hairey than dispose of it at the least move it to refugia

Its a bad one. I had one with those blue eyes and furry legs and he ate my acro. I would get him out if you can. An unwound paperclip wrks great. or a short freshwater bath.

Boy am I glad I put mine in the sump. I got one little brown furry crab in a rescue coral. I put it in the sump and fragged the rescue. I was going to wait until the frags grew and in the meantime do some research on the crab. No research necessary thanks to you guys. I also moved my emerald crab to the sump since I found him munching on my brand new blue zoos!!!!!!!

An iodine dip or freshwater dip makes them come out quick fast and in a hurry!

Hairy crabs with black-tip claws is bad news. I would also get him/her out.

ha ha i got them out of my tank,,2 of them on different mill colony eating away my milli,,,anybody want them/ they are baddddddd. ,,,,or will be on my dinner menu :badgrin: :badgrin: take good look eye ball.
