i think you are right. it does look like a lettuce nudi. but if your not sure i would throw it away. there are some nudi's that will do alot of damage to a reef tank.
 
Corals include very few hitch hiker polyps. They all seem to be doing just as well or better than when they went into the tank. It was brought in on some macro algae and was no where near any of the polyps. This little guy is smaller than a grain of white rice. I am thinking it is just a baby.
 
well its up to you if you want to keep it or not. i have had monti eating nudis. they will not die until all your montis are dead. like i said i would toss it. up to you.
 
I'd say keep it in a small 'quarantine' tank an monitor. Might be a good guy, but not sure atm.
