issues with some soft corals and sps

i have a several acropora and some hammer and frogspawn corals and sea anenomes and kenya tree and zoo two maze brain corals all seem to be doing fine i had a few months a go some xenya and some green star pol that was doing really nice some thing has changed and now every thing except the star and exnya dose fine if i try to put some xenya or star in the system they chrivel up and go away rather fast all else seems happy the zoos are open the sea aneomes ar growing the hard corlas and doing fine dkh is 9 calcuim is 460 phosate is 0.25 and nitrate is 0 what could be causing it the kenya tree is doing exceltnt every time i trun around its srpeading and stating a new colony
 
Most likely it has to do with keeping corals from very different environments in the same tank. In such a confined space the toxic chemicals they produce build up and some species just cannot adapt and die off. I recommend either keeping soft corals or stony corals in the same tank. Running carbon and changing it often helps to reduce chemical buildup. The older, more crowded, and larger the corals become amplifies the effect.
