After 1st coat of finish paint. Will wait fot it to dry and will.sand it down and apply again tomorrow. I probably going to apply 3 coat.

Finally got all the skin nailed in. I used finish nail and glud to put all the skin in place.
I have not put any molding yet because i want to see what thei door look like before i buy the matching molding.

I haven't update the thread for a while. It's because take a while for me to paint the back of the tank. Took me 4 night to it. It was because it did 4 coat. So each night i did a coat.

Not much going on these days. I got some set back. The overflow box that i oredered came with a wrong size of drain, so i have to send it back. So that probably delay 2 weeks.
Meanwhile the plumbing parts arrived. But then...
I kind of changed my mind about plumbing. I decided instead of rigig pvc, i'm going to switch to flex pvc. So i ordered bunch of flex pvc pipe. It should arrive next neek.
So for now, will sit back and enjoy the lunar new year.
Happy new year, year of the monkey.

This is an interesting build. Hat's off to you for building it yourself. I'd definitely be scared a seam would give way if I made it, but you've obviously done this before with your first tank and you know how to work a router....so your doing it right.

Are you at all concerned about being able to get into the overflow? The top brace of the tank appears to keep you from being able to access the inside of the overflow at all.

Looking forward to future updates!

Very valid point.
My inside overflow part on my 233 is covered up by the eurobrace and cleaning inside is impossible.

I ordered a low profile overflow, some call it ghost overflow. It came with inside box and outside box. The 2 box connect with the bulkhead. To clean you can just remove the bulkhead. You should check into this flow. It's very slick.
Here the pic i posted previously.

Finally my outside overflow box arrived. The bad thing, the seller forgot to ship the bulkhead with it. I decided to go to barrier reef aquarium to purchase 3 1" bulkhead. Here is what it look like with bean animal setup.

Tomorrow will be the day that the will see the water. Saturday is latest.
Im very excited. Got all my plumbing done today. I should take a picture. Im glad that i when with flex pvc route. Very easy to do plumbing. Will take the picture tomorrow.
