Jawfish.... Ok to live with a clown, sleeper goby and royal gramma?

I just got him a black cap tiger jaw fish. Only trouble is he has been hiding behind some LR and I have not seen him since yesterday (got him yesterday).

Keep tank FULLY covered, they are jumpers

It is covered!!! Is it normal for them to be out and about in the tank? I did not see him the first two days and today he was behind some rocks, looks like a made a home there. Went out and came home and he was out and about in the tank. Not breathing heavy or swimming nervously around just sitting on the bottom occasionally moving about.

Yes, the fish's still stress given w/ the new environment. He should be ok after a week or so, try to lure him out by feeding the tank.

Yes make sure you have a deep sand bed otherwise they look pretty pathetic without one lol

I had some pearly jawfish and never saw them again after a few days. Hard for them to come out to watch.
