Has anyone heard of this brand of lighting, Jebo? It is a 220w (55wx4) power compact setup. Just curious as to what it is worth.

Thanks,

William

Jebo 4*55watt

I bought a Jebo 4*55watt off of Ebay. The seller's service was great, but, in my opinion, the product is not great.....at all. The "actinic" bulbs appear to be blue, not actinic. The lights and ballasts are too tightly packed and run way to hot. There isn't remove to properly put in cooling fans. The reflector stinks. I took the light strip apart to see if I could use the parts as a retrofit. I was not impressed with the ballasts. They are completely unlabeled. I ended up buying three 32-watt, T-5 fluorescents from The Fish Store and love them. I know Blue Sierra also carries them.

If you want to try the Jebo, you should try mine. I would be more than happy to trade it for some polyps, frags, critters, etc. Steve

Hey, I really appreciate the info. You probally saved me $80.00. I will probally go the route you went w/ the T-5's.

Thanks.

Jebo LIghting

Thanks Mike. I appreciate your post. You wouldn't happen to have come across any equipment have you? I found a really nice acrylic 75g SW tank for $20. It has overflow in it and everything. Good deal, huh?

Later man.

Will
