Anybody know what kind of jelly this is? So far I've only seen them get about 1 inch in diameter.

those are really cute. Do you have them in your system? Or did you see them somewhere else? You would be surprised at what you might find in your tank that you didnt know was there.
 
These showed up about 4 months ago as tiny dots drifting in the sump on my seahorse tank (which contains live rock). I thought they were interesting, so I protected and fed them and they started growing. I'll see about getting some more pics posted. I do love seeing what surprises come out of live rock!
 
I've seen some one else here on RF had found a type of jellyfish in his tank or sump also. They were not the same as what you have. I think yours are beautiful.
 
I use Instant Ocean salt and tap water. I'm assuming the jellies came in on live rock, although I hadn't added any new rock for quite awhile. I don't know what else to think.

upside down jellies? I want em!!!! LOL
the guy at gbr said he could special order octos but no jellies cuz no one has the special needed tank for em?!?! BS i say, if i can keep an octo alive...how hard could a jelly be? Ive owned niether but am intrested in both lol.
Sweet find btw... lol
