Hi all this is my little tank. Its been set up for a little over a year now; I have just been to lazy to post pics.

Stats:
38G Acrylic
Remora skimmer
Seio 620 + nano stram 6025
5 x 39W T5 Hood by aquactinics
AC Jr to monitor things and keep me sane... Also controls my kalk dosing
xanrex power backup to keep my circulation running incase of power failure
(no sump)

Maintenance:
Daily- Add a bit of 2 part supplement in the morning
Weekly- 5g water change, testing, algae pruning =\

Corals:
Lots
Fish:
Helfrichi firefish(youll notice hes trying to get in every one of my shots =P)
Rainfords Goby

The rock I used is aquacultured rock from florida. Youll notice there are lots of brown tubastrea looking coral interspersed through the tank were living on the rocks when I got them. Although thy arent really pests, I dont really try keep them alive. They are in my way of placing corals, its rather annyoing =P The *******s sent me all these baseball sized rocks and expected me to able to build a rock structure. Oh well live and learn. Ill do tonga and something else next time for v2.0.
Youll also notice there is a lot of algae in my tank. Yah yah I know. I dont like it either, but theres nothing in my tank that will eat it, so consequently I am the only one who ever removes it(via tweezers =\) The rainfords goby eats some of the hair algae, but my hand makes a much bigger dent. I am currently working on getting a sump installed and using a much better skimmer. Hopefully this will help with my nutrient problem enouh to kill off my remaining algae.

"get rid of the algae (I know how hard that is!) "
Its been a battle of attrition for months =P Ultimately though its my lack of filtration power. I dont think Id recomend a remora for anything more then a medium stocked 20g. But it just so happens that I have this bm150 sitting around(for project 2.0)... lol.. it may be too much but Ill just get something else if it is.

Cy-
Thanks =) You see what I mean about running out of room? =P

Ohh boy =\ I woke up this morning and the power to the tank was off. Luckily my xantrex kept the circulation going. When I restored the power, the tank temp read 72 =\ Keeping my fingers crossed that they all make it ok.

72 shouldn't be a problem. Your tank is awesome!!!!
I've had good luck with tangs, snails and emerald crabs for algae. Obviously, the tangs are better than the crabs.

Xantrex is a power backup. Automatically kicks on when the power goes out. Gives me about 30 hours of circulation time with my PH's plugged in.

Unfortunetly I cant plug my heaters in to it. My heaters have to stay plugged in to the DC8. Even if I could plug them in to the xantrex, I wouldn't, because if they trip the gfci I dont want power running to them and frying the tank.
Atleast it didn't happen on a really cold night =\
