Some photos of my 10 gallon tank purchased from the kind Krish!
Looks good Justin!! Although I have to give you an infraction for posting photos from a phone . For those of you that don't know, Justin is a pest, I mean friend of mine that lives here in Nassau about 2 minutes from my house. He upgraded from a 5 gal nano to this 10 gal.
On a side note, it looks like you have some microbubbles in the tank so you might have to put the skimmer in the side compartment where I had it to cut down on them some.
Hey Krish, what do the micro bubbles cause? I was reading the aqua remora manual and it says that those are normal for a while until the skimmer breaks in or some crap like that......? but it seems like the amount of those bubbles really are decreasing since i first put the skimmer on.
I will also try to get some proper photos with a real camera for everyone, lol yes i deserve an infraction for that lol
Very nice looking. Like the rock work. How's the flow in that little tank?
Yea, in some cases, micro-bubbles will usually subside once the skimmer slimes up a bit. I was actually reading up on the new skimmer on the weekend and they said it produces a lot of micro-bubbles initially, but by day 3 they were gone. Guess you'll have to see. Other than it not looking too appealing, I don't think it will cause any issues. I think I did read somewhere though that they irritate the fish's gills, but not sure how much truth there is to that statement. I might have to look deeper into that
Sweet, it looks like a nice set up. Good job.
Hello Justin, welcome to RF
The 10 gallon looks good so far! IS this going to be a reef? What type of corals are you interested in?
I must've missed that Krish sold it.
Well it was more stolen than sold.....MUAHAHAH!!!! lol
Somebody call the police!!!. I can hardly buy a light fixture now and land it here duty paid with the money I sold everything for . My wife is going to kill me :rip:
Looks good! So I take it that you are just going to leave the skimmer sitting in the tank or are you going to move it to the side compartment and hang the lights?
