Ed do you have Eric's phone numbre? he has not replied to two PM's regarding hosting the picnic. He was all excited when I talked to him.

If you have Paul hamby's or Eric's can you call and check out that it's still ok and confirm June 24th; 1:30pm at the factory so I can advertise.

ALSO:

I sent PM's to all the sponsors (Shark Reef, Indoor Reef, Ocean Reef, Reef Mystique, SWC, Blue Sierra) to offer the donate gift certs and we buy gift certs so we will where that goes.

Mark - I left Barrier up to you since you are there.

I had a fun idea while i was sleepless at 2AM.

Indoor Reef is game for $200 in gift certificates, so i'll venture down there and buy another $100. Bleu Sieera responded as well, so I"m hoping we will have a good amount.

What I thought we could do with ALLLL the gift certificates, is put each in an envelope, and write the vendor and amount on the front of an envelope and we can can tape them to the tank to be raffled. As tickets are drawn, then the people can come up and select WHICH store they want their gift certificate from. They are guaranteed to be happy then!!

When the gift certs are gone, we can draw the tank winner!!

What do you think?

I can get some wild colored envelopes and make it look fun and festive, that way it will be impressive even though we don't have a ton of hard goods there.

Indoor Reef said fine for $200 but only in $25's.

SOoooooo..... I thought I'd get 2 at $50 for the ones the club buys, just to have something to be a bit more excited about.

If you don't want to do the festive tape and pick routine, we could number the envelopes and then have a drawing, of the gift certs and then they'd get the numbered envelope. But that is dumb it's no different than just handing them one.

Just trying to think of something to get excited about since there won't be a huge pile of "stuff" no one really wants .. lol

Eric said he could do the 16th of June or the 30th of June. If he did the 16th
He would need a baby sitter. The 30th is easier for Eric. He said either way. Eric just needs to know ASAP>

I want to have a face to face meeting to go over some planning for the next year... Is anyone going to be available before or after the picnic??? I think we need at least a good 2 hours to sit and dedicate to BOD business..... a different day works for me, but I figured eveyone will be there for the picnic anyways and could just get there super early or stay extra late....

Well Ed needs to be involved so the day of would work better for him. There is always the option to do a RF chat with just us or do we all have messenger of some sort?

To make the most of time, an agenda might be nice, so we can all get out what we think is important, as I have a few things I consider very highly important and I worry about since I'm .... sigh.... taking a hind seat for a while.
