kedd reds havnt opened

so i jsut noticed today that my keddd redds dont look to good...there are about 3-4 heads that are ahlf opened and the rest are closed, what do you think is wrong?

Have you changed anything in the tank? Like lights, flow, add any additives.
What are your water parameters.

i have not changed anything, except i added a peppermint shrimp, and i tested my nitrite and its at 0 ppm nitrate 0 ppm and ammonia 0 ppm

they could be cleaning themselves which usually last about a week .

the one thing i did change was adding 2 peppermint shrimp, could they be eating them?

Posibly.
Keep checking to see if they are at night.

i don't think a shrimp would eat zoos but you never know .
i'd give it a week and if by then they're not opening then i'd do a little dip dood .

huh, interesting that this has come up. This morning I caught my shrimp messin' with some zoos, and I just ended up fishin the little fella out of the tank a few minutes ago. He was just sittin' on the zoo rock not moving a inche or two from the zoos I saw him picking at. I'm wondering if he got poisoned by the zoo?
