The list of excellent author's above includes a teacher, a pharmaceutics salesman, an Amazon exec, a retired chap, etc. All experts... all passionate... but none inaccessible or hard to understand in their writings. No dry science types at all :)
Thanks I will check them out!

im glad we have made up

I totally understand your thinking when it comes to books, i am not the smartest crayon in the box and i need it put in simple terms. i have read book from all the authors that Anthony Calf has listed and i think i am a better (reef keeper) for doing so.I promise you this , if you read a few of those books your tank will ten times as successful. I wish you the best of luck

I also agree with everyone here. Gonioporas need a tank with a higher nutrient load. Lagoonal flats are usually where these guys are found, and thus more turbid water, and sandbeds.

I have kept one before, but basically was a dumb move on my part. It was my first coral....bought from PetCo :(

It lived for about 10 months, even budding itself asexually by 'polyp ejection'. However, the parent colony started to die off and get jelly fungus (?).

Here are some of the small buds. The calcium base is about 3/4" cm long. Cute definitely, but hard to keep.
