Don what tool do you use to cut the o-ring grove the smallest round router bit I could find was 1/4"

1/4 shank 1/8 spiral (BEST) or 1/4 shank 1/8 fluted works fine but you need a speed controler to slow it down (melting). This really is the trick for all cutting operations with WW bits.

Try Rockler, Woodcraft or Sumner Woodworking.

I guess I'm a little too hands on to get this jig. I would have to see it to catch on. And there probably is not much that can be done after the tube holes have been cut already.

Not really, the center hole becomes the pilot hole for the tube hole cutter after the flange is done.

I will be posting the drill press pics soon so dont give up yet.

hey don any information for newbs? i just recently build a kalk reacter for my friend woodood dave, but i used a test plug to enter in the kalk. i would love to learn how to make key hole flanges. But i been reading over and over again this post and i dont get a thing.

Where do you guys buy your acrylic tubing how much is it for a 6 or 8 inch tube 2 feet long to make sompthing my son wants to make a protien skimmer and trying to figure material costs
