Thanks Steve. I think I am going to try it again or something similar. I'm just hoping that they don't send me rubble like they did Jiddy(LOL) I'm really not interested in sticking my rocks together with putty, epoxy or anything of that nature. The 2 towers I did that time were all balanced on their...I should have been a tight rope walker(LOL)

WHAT!!, man krish i really feel let down. I was so looking for REAL LR. I guess when your 1500 miles from any salty water that you kinda have a different perspective. Thanks Paul. I will have some Bahamian LR, but not much. However, it will all be LR from the ocean.

I took out the background yesterday, took my fish to my friends house, took out the bio-balls and removed the sand bed. So as it sits right now, the sump and skimmer is off as well as the phosban reactor. I have my 2 Seio's as well as my cannister filter running with the polishing cartridge in it. I got my black acrylic background back on and I started building up the first reef. I am just waiting on the rock to come to finish setting it all up. As for my sump, I removed the trays and depending on how much LR I can squeeze in my tank, will determine what goes in the sump. For now, either it will be more LR or just water for the extra volume. The trickle aspect of the sump is no longer an option.

Well, the rock didn't make it here today. The guys in the States said they didn't get a full copy of the order and it so happens that the page my rock was on, didn't go through. What can you do(LOL). I'll just wait another week I guess for it to come or the weather to clear up. I might get a jackhammer and chop off a piece of Nassau and call it a day!(LOL)

Yeah...I got the shaft. It may be a good thing though about the rock because depending on if the tile man can fit us in soon, we may be changing our tile downstairs so they tank would have to be moved for a few days anyway. I will know for sure tomorrow as he is coming to measure up and let us know when he is available. I'm hoping he says it's going to cost something like $80,000.00 to do it so I don't have to move the tank(LOL...shhhhh Don't tell my wife) She wants to change the tile and I could care less if it is changed or not especially since she only wants to change it to have it a shade darker...LOL. If that's the case, then bring on the Acrylic tank....Looks the same just a little clearer and easier to drill!!! Oh and about the Bahamas, I think you should come. After we stone the computer company, we could go out snorkeling!

Today's update on the tank is I cleaned out the skimmer, all of the pumps, emptied the sump and cleaned it, and I bought 2 50gal drums to pump my water into as soon as I get word from the tile man. I will just pump the water into the 2 seperate containers and hook up a Seio in each until I can set the tank back up. I'm glad I'm doing it this way though, because it is a lot easier setting the rock up with the tank empty rather than splashing water everywhere. I think the water's gravity helps balance the rocks a lot better than empty when setting them up, but I still rather do it empty.

I wish I could post some pictures, but I don't have my computer back yet and I really don't want to load my cameras software on somebody elses computer. I have them saved though so I will post them as soon as I get my computer back. I guess you could look out for a new thread in maybe the members showcase forum when I get my computer back where I will post the pictures of the progess of my tank and talk about what was done there. I figure it will be better doing it that way than starting up a new thread and wasting server space everytime I do something new. I'll just post everything on one thread.
