Lava rock

I just wanted to ask if you could use lava rock for landscaping and aquarium epoxy to build rocks to use in your system. Make the shapes you want then seed it with some good live rock.

I too have heard that lava rocks are not a good idea when it comes to using them in a saltwater tank.

Pat if your looking for good cheap base rock i know the perfect place for you to go when you come up by me.
