lawnmower blenny/is it a good idea?

i had a friend of mine sujest that i add a lawnmower blenny to my tank, to see if it would munch on some of my algea, i think it may be a little early to add something, all par, are good nitrate is down to 10, no trace of phosphates, still red and spots of hair algea ,on some of the lr, looks as if it is dying though... remember that i stwitch from a 4 year old cc to bb in two days it will be two months...

Do you know if it was eating prepared foods? The only problem is getting them to eat after the algae is gone, but hopefully it will eat for you once it eats up the algae. Let us know how he does!

mine is a pig. and the most crazy fish I have...... ever see a fish that thinks he is in a amusement park. mine does for hours.
go goes and sits on the powerhead and then takes off down the powerhead onto the diflector and swoooossshhh he gone from the force of the flow.... then right back up to the top to do it all over again.
If a fish shows that he is having fun the fish is intelligent. more than just hhmmmmmm BUBBLES BUBBLES YEAH YEAH BUBBLES. oops got a little carried away
oh and mine eats everything he can chow on.... calurpa, green algae thats on the glass, mysis, flakes, krill, brine, nori, well anything that he can eat. well he eats.
great fish with a great personality. enjoy your new fish!!

thats funny you said that, this morning he was riding the force of my pumps at will, seems to me , then he sat at the front of the lr on top and was cking everything out, he made it through the night lets see what happens, the dams dont seem to like him, that could be bad, unless he out smarts them, until, and if they get use to him....
