Leaky Bulkhead

I leak tested the bulkhead on my new sump and it leaked. Whats the best way to fix this. I unscrewed the bulkhead already. Should I just to get a better fit.

Which side of the bh is the rubber gasket on? It should be opposite of the nut, another words you shouldn't tighten the nut against it.

The gasket is on the inside and the nut is on the outside.

If the hole is the righ size, then tighten 1/4 past hand tight. You should be good to go. If not then look at a leaking thread or glue joint. Use paper towels to find exactly where the leak is. Good luck!
