I am fairly new (6mo.) to reef keeping -had fish only back in the 70-80s

I have a cabbage leather (sinularia dura) being moved upon by the blue/purple discosoma mushrooms. Is there a conflict with these, and can I tease the leather off of his foot-hold to move it?
Thanks
Jean

Welcome to RF. The cabbage is a fast grower. Can you place a small rock between the mushroom and the cabbage? If you can, the cabbage will grow on to the small rock. Then you can frag it.

corallimorphs (mushroom discs) will eventually chemically kill most anything they confront. Chisel them back my friend (skin them off the rocks with a sharp woodworkers chisel and superglue them elsewhere or trade/give them away
