Hey Fishy, looks like maybe $300 +- for your tank then. I'd say six of the 9w GU10 lenghtwise across tank and a Blue LED Bar front and back should do it well enough for some non high-light demanding corals. If you could have six pairs of the White GU10's on each side you'd be golden for many more options.

Any chance I could get a comment on the last post? I don't know if 110 volt lights are going to be a prolem.

There is no issue. Your rail that they run into or socket would just se your regular old wall power. Your wall power is rated at 115vac 60htz. And depending on your circuit probably a 20a circuit.

I did not think it would be just thought I would ask. Tat2, So how do you figure out if a blue light is reef capable? I found these and if they would work they would be perfect for what I am doing.

i use 12000-14000k, they have better penetration
and the color is beautiful
