Hi,

I have - 2 CREE XP-e White E-stripe (9 LEDs) at the moment. I want to add blue - 1 CREE XP-e Blue E-stripe ( 9 LEDs). Can I have one white and one blue or should I have two white and two blue?

What is the difference in the blue light and white light and how does it affect the tank life? I wish to add an anemone and some medium care coral.

What size tank? I like more of a 70% blue 30% white look with crees.

Is the color of the light just for us humans or is there something beneficial for the critters?

It is huge for the corals, a lot of debate on it actually. But both the white and the blue put out a huge amount of light in the 460nM range, which just happens to be the sweet spot for photosynthesis.
