Talk to mike at micro reefs llc. He sells all in one pico and micro Coldwater tanks that have built in chillers for the price of a used chiller. And Coldwater marine Aquatics has great pico sized inverts:)

Don't have the gorgonians anymore, but I will get more eventually. I lost them in a tank transfer a while back. I actually have more livestock now than I did then in including a bunch of bad ass bat stars :)

Do you have pics of the bat stars or are those the ones on the front of the tank?

You know you have got me talked into it. I found a micro chiller that I can put on my 3 gal pico.
I need to get my frag tank running and move the livestock currently in the pico, into it.
I have wanted a catalina goby since I saw one. I will get one.

Yaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! You won't be disappointed. I absolutely love my catalina's. They will rock in your pico. I can't wait to see that.

Nice :) Just wait until you start looking around, there are even cooler fish out there for coldwater than catalinas ;)

And stu you may like my blood stars but I'm jealous of your bat stars and really all the other goodies ya got lol.

So I was looking at some of the nems on Coldwater marine Aquatics. There area some really pretty little ones. Not sure how big some of them get, but I believe they were really small and perfect for a pico. I just need to get busy on my frag tank. Its almos ready for water. Just need a 2' piece of hose, which I can pick up at work tomorrow. This will be fun.

Yep bat stars are too big for a 3G but corynactis, Beadlet, waratah ,aggregating and moonglow anemones are perfect for nano's. And each of those are pretty hardy.

It's totally fun! Coldwater is a world apart from the fussy and picky warm water tanks. It'll be good to have a partner in crime north of the Columbia river :)

Good to see you here Josh!! Sweet tanks. I always liked your first one with the green surf nems!

Here's Josh's tank setup.

Its an Envision built 1" thick acrylic tank I found on craigslist and buffed out. Had a guy I know built a custom stand that would fit the footprint of the tank and allow enough clearance to keep the 1/10th HP chiller and mini fridge with auto feeder housed underneath it. A lot of the design is based on a scaled down, cost effective version of Steve Weasts system.
