Will any par38 led light work? i found a few on ebay. there all white but i think they should work. what do you all think?

no. PAR38 is just a bulb size. The ones from nanotuners have proper diodes in them for reef lighting.

There are reef-designed knockoffs on ebay but you aren't getting hte same quality.

yeah typically with the knockoffs you'll get cheap chinese diodes that won't last as long or may put out the wrong color spectrum.

I have seen some on ebay that claim to be worthwhile but I'd rather spend a little extra and support the innovation from nanotuners. Ecoxotic also ripped off the product, FWIW and sells it on their website.

well im about to order one of these and was wondering what set up you all would suggest. 12k or a 20k?
