Lol.... Bummer!
I’m beginning to think there is no such thing as a “quiet fan”.
Except maybe the one that’s in my computer. lol
Thanks for the honest answer though.

I have expensive Loud computer fans also. I have heard of people using computer fans. Here is the problem I find with fans, you can get them with ball bearings etc, if you want thrust you also get noise, even if the blades are perfectly pitched & balanced. Now some are made better than others & are quieter but you need to compare CFMs to noise db's to find the better made fans, not necessary meaning so quiet you can't hear them.

If most lps dont require a mh bulb to be kept unde than what is the point in wasting the money to change the bulbs every six months? Wasn't that part of Eric hugo psas meeting speach/lecture about over lighting our systems. i know most sps would require it if you have a tank that is 24" or more deep. maybe someone can shed some light on this for me. I run 4 110 watt vho's on my tank and everything seems to be thriving. even my sps is doing very well. and don't uri vho's last a year rather than six months rather than six monthe for mh bulbs.
