Lighting Question

Is it possible to run 4 160VHO's and 2 96watt powercompacts in the same canopy?? or would that be WAAAY too much heat?? or would I be better off running all VHO's??? Anyone have any pics of their tanks lit with just VHO lighting? thinking about doing my big tank as a FO semi-aggressive tank

This is a pic of my old 90 gal under four 4' VHO ... 2 actinics and 2 10000k's, it ran sucessfully for two years and looked awsome!

You could run HO T5's and fit quite a few there.
If you can fit it underneath I'd say your ok, the heat you will need to deal with regardless, run fans blowing in and out of the canopy, usually that will be enough for florescent lighting.

I just need to figure out a way to wire up fans so that in the regular months out of the year I can have two sucking air into the hood and two blowing out and then in the summer months have all of them blowing air out in order to keep heat down. Thanks for your pics and help.
